Slip Gauge Box

• Slip Gauge Manufacturing tolerances will be as per IS 2984 - 1981.
‘Preci-Lap’ tungsten carbide slip gauges are manufactured from spl. grade of carbide with hardness 1500 Vickers, 100% control manufacture process for maintaining flatness, parallelism & size. Slip gauge is rigorously checked and calibrated in our well -equipped laboratory.

The use of hard metal like tungsten carbide as a material for slip gauges have increased in recent years due to following

DIMENSIONAL STABILITY:

Tungsten carbide is stable material and dimensional stability is of major important when slip gauges of ‘O’ or ‘OO’ grade are manufactured.

WRING ABILITY :

Tungsten carbide allowed the production of high quality geometrically accurate surface giving superior wringing quality to the slip gauge.

RESISTANCE TO WEAR & CORROSION :

Tungsten carbide is highly resistance to wear & retain it’s accuracy over a long time, also due to resistance to corrosion makes it ideal for continuous handling

ECONOMY & CERTIFICATION :

Considering longer life and substantial reduction on recalibration cost gauge blocks give maximum return on investment.

We issue certificate of calibration along with every set which have trace ability to N.P.L Delhi through our certified masters.

• PRODUCT RANGE :

Tungsten carbide gauge blocks offered in metric sizes from 0.2 to 100 mm in loose
Gauges blocks also available in standard sets to meet grade of National or International Standard. Following sets are commonly used and manufacture by us other sets than following as per customer specific requirement can be offered. Metric sets manufacture with 1mm & 2mm base. Sets of 2 mm base are recommended by BS 4311 for extra rigidity.
